We experience a feeling of relief when we start becoming more thankful for everything we have in life, and must I add, everything we don’t have in life.

In the past couple of weeks, I have had a few critical realizations that resulted in structural changes to my internal dialogue, one of which was to be more grateful for everything in life.

For example, if I gain or win, I’ll be thankful, and if I lose or go through a rough path, I will still be grateful because, ultimately, I will learn a valuable lesson from that experience.

In a nutshell, I will take all events and outcomes in a positive light and be thankful that I got to experience them because, ultimately, how I push forward from wins and recoup from losses determines my future.

Now, let me clarify that being grateful neither means being content with what you currently have nor does it mean forgoing your ambitions. It simply is a call for optimizing your attitude towards events and outcomes.

If you practice it daily, it will magically change how you construct your thoughts. You get to savor the positive experiences, but not enough, so they overcome you. You stop self-loathing on losses and focus instead on your next steps. It is a system that enables happiness and a stress-free mind. Because once you realize that life acts as a sinewave and ups and downs are inevitable, then why not choose growth instead of self-loathing?

Ask yourself: How can I be grateful for everything regardless of my circumstances?

✍️ Quote of the Week

“One trait that many of the best founders share is conviction.

You can be great at programming, sales, and raising funds - but if you don’t truly believe in what you’re building, you’re probably not going to make it
